EU leaders condemn “terrorist attacks” in France

Change language:
The leaders of the European Union (EU) issued a joint statement Thursday condemning “terrorist attacks” in France, after the latest one in Nice left at least three dead and several injured.
“We, European Leaders, are shocked and saddened by the terrorist attacks in France. We condemn in the strongest possible terms these attacks which represent attacks on our shared values,” read the statement.
Vowing to continue the “fight against terrorism and violent extremism,” the leaders called on their counterparts around the world to “work towards dialogue and understanding among communities and religions rather than division.”
The statement was issued by the European Council, which comprises heads of state or government of the 27 EU member states, along with the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission.
On Thursday afternoon, European Council President Charles Michel and his European Commission counterpart Ursula von der Leyen expressed solidarity with France at a press conference following their video meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
“Once again, these are attacks against democracy, against liberty. We need to stand together to defend democracy, the rule of law and fundamental freedoms,” said Michel.

No muslims = no terrorist attacks
How they express solidarity??? Not naming the word Islamic and just saying a simple terrorist attack? If they don’t have the balls to say the real phrase which is ISLAMIC terrorist attack, they are not expressing solidarity, they express coward symbolic solidarity.
