The Russian bistro of Szolnok is among the world’s best restaurants – PHOTOS

The Balajka Russian Bistro rapidly became a tourist destination in Szolnok. Guests come from all part of Hungary and even abroad to taste Russian flavours. All of them are satisfied with the service and the tastes the restaurant provides. As a result, they have received the Travellers’ Choice award from Tripadvisor recently, which is a significant tribute.

According to szoljon.hu, the experience is unique, the dishes are delicious, and the atmosphere is like in Russia. One guest said that it is like a small Russia in Eastern-Hungary while the other added that every minute is a unique experience and they like very much to spend time here.

That is what people write about the Russian Balajka bistro of Szolnok, and it is not surprising that all guests give them five stars.

That is why Tripadvisor, the biggest travel platform of the world, awarded the family restaurant with the Travellers’ Choice, by which it became one among the world best places to eat.

Before, Forbes Magazine declared it the “most Russian” restaurant of Hungary and the owners got a prestigious state award from Moscow, as well, for their work in gastronomy and culture. 

They said then that their goal is to familiarise their guests with the Russian national values and spirit. András Kolozsvári added that their restaurant provides a unique opportunity to learn about Russian traditions and culture.
