Budapest, one of the best value cities to visit in 2020 – Lonely Planet

In an annual survey done by Lonely Planet, Budapest was voted second in a list compiling the best value cities to visit in 2020. The list highlights the best cities to visit on a budget that are extremely gratifying for their value.

Lonely Planet: Budapest Ranked Among World’s Best Value Cities

The section on Budapest highlights all of its selling points that include, but are not limited to, the array of thermal baths the city has to offer, the “edgier” Ruin Bars in atmospheric old buildings, Wine Bars, and fascinating café culture. They also insisted on providing the right spots for your Instagram pictures. Although the whole city is incredibly picturesque, Keleti Pályaudvar, the railway station, seemed to be the top choice for a great photo op.

Budapest tops the list in terms of European destinations but comes in second overall, just behind Indonesia, and precedes Madhya Pradesh, India and Buffalo, New York.
