Bocuse d’Or – Twenty chefs clash at the continent finals in Budapest

Fifteen name of the twenty is already known, and the competing chefs will be chosen at the national finals in another five countries for the continent final of the world’s most prestigious cookery competition, Bocuse d’Or, organized in Budapest on May 10-11, webradio.hu wrote.
Before the participants compete for the world’s best chef title in Lyon in 2017, they clash at continent finals. The Bocuse d’Or Europe is the most viewed event of the series of the qualifying rounds, and 11 contestants get into the world finals – the organizers told MTI.
Following the national qualifiers of each country, it is known which twenty nations’ chefs participate in the European finals.
Belgium will be represented by Peter Aesaert, Bulgaria by Antonio Ivanov, Denmark by Morten Falk, the United Kingdom by Anthony Wright, Estonia by Dmitri Rooz, Finland by Eero Vottonen, France by Laurent Lemal, the Netherlands Jan Smink, Croatia by Tomislav Karamarko, Iceland by Viktor Andresson, Norway by Christopher William Davidsen, Russia Artur Ovchinnikov, Spain by Juan Manuel Salgado, Sweden by Alexander Sjogren, Turkey bí Mutlu Sevket Yilmaz, while still further national finals will be held in Austria, Hungary, Germany, Italy and Switzerland at the end of February, webradio.hu wrote.
