Nearly three thousand Santa Clauses swarmed the capital – VIDEO

According to futanet.hu, the 2^nd Rossmann Santa Run was carried out with more participants than last year, in a great atmosphere. Boggie Csemer, Alexandra Béres and Feri Rippel also took part. Although the weather was not the best, there was no shortage of snow, and the organizers took care of a petting zoo and concerts as well.

BSI organized Rossmann Santa Run, a kind of funrun, for the second time. Despite the fact that this year’s St. Nicholas day was characterized by gloomy weather and rain there were 2730 participants present. People could apply for two races this year, the former starting at 1 pm, the latter starting at 3 pm, departing from the Corvinus University.

Several celebrities dressed as Santa Claus: Alexandra Béres managed the warm-ups both times, and she also entered the second race with her family members. At 3 pm, Boggie Csemer and Ferenc Rippel also joined the race, the latter with his daughter in his neck.

In return for the entry fee the runners had to run 2.3 km in Santa Claus clothes. Accordingly, everyone from the youngest to the oldest could be found among those who swarmed Vaci Street and the Pest lower quay. This brought fun not, only for the participants but the passers as well. The amusement was further increased and the mood was successfully lifted by artificial snow at the start and the finish.
