The Győr mayor sex and drug scandal continues: Borkai will not resign! – VIDEO

Yesterday we reported that explicit photos and sex videos were released of Győr mayor Zsolt Borkai by an anonymous blogger. He released a statement on Monday apologising for his actions, but he will not resign as he did not commit anything illegal.
The blogger also accused Borkai and his lawyer of corruption, money laundering and using public funds for private expenses, for example going on a yacht cruise on the Adriatic Sea and hiring prostitutes.
As written by index.hu, in a statement on Győrplusz TV – which was then broadcasted nationally by ATV – Borkai admitted that the contents of the videos and blogs were “partially true” and he deeply apologises to his family. However, he claimed that the posts were “manipulated” and his trips were not funded by public money. In addition, Borkai has affirmed he did not take any illegal substances – such as cocaine as claimed by the blogger – during the cruise.
24.hu announced that on Sunday around midday the blog became inaccessible, however, in a post on Monday afternoon klubradio.hu reported that a new blog was created by the anonymous user to continue leak information on Borkai: ezazordogugyvedje
Borkai Zsolt is absolutely right. Why should he resign? A lot of people go through sexual happenings, but I’m not saying it is right for a married man or woman. It is wrong to suggest that he had anything to do with drugs, and accusations about fraud. I believe Borkai Zsolt is telling the truth. My wife and I met him at a concert in Győr three years ago, and he really did not seen that kind of person. If the accusations against him are supposed to be true, why doesn’t the BLOGGER show him or herself and come forward with proof and evidence. It is understood now that the names of all on the boat are now known, so why has no one mentioned them. This case stinks, and I believe a pack of lies brought about by the DK and opposition parties. Seems strange this happened a week before the municipal elections. Well done Gyurcsány and né, another one of your lying acts again.
