Packing list for Hungary

The countryside of Hungary offers many beautiful sights and most of them are unspoiled and undiscovered. From the caves of Lillafüred to the Hortobágy National Park, the countryside is both peaceful and beautiful. Furthermore, it is a good option for people planning to travel on a tight budget mainly because the attractions, food, and drinks are affordable. Most of the famous sights in the city are free to visit and they include the Chain Bridge and the Fishermen’s Bastion. Outside the capital, the prices drop further. But before you leave your country, you will have to pack correctly. Here are some of the items you will have to include in your packing list.

A slim wallet

A slim wallet like Kinzd will eliminate the chances of carrying what you do not need and allow you to carry some cash, debit or credit cards. You can exchange your dollars or euros for the local currency, known as forint, at one of the local banks, post office, travel agency or hotel. If you hate carrying cash, you can swipe an ATM card to get the local forint. Clothes

Generally, the temperature in Hungary is very hot in summer and very cold in winter and therefore you will have to pack for the season.

When traveling in winter, remember to pack long sleeves, a heavy jacket, and a light fleece. If you are planning to travel in one of the hot months, you will have to pack the lightweight cotton shorts, long pants, and skirts. Some of the tourist sites, including the churches, have their dress code. In other words, men will have to wear long pants and women will require modest long pants or dresses to match the occasion. Pack some light undergarments that you can wash easily during your journey.
