Budapest Park soon starts its strongest concert season ever

Change language:
Budapest Park opened only seven years ago, but since then it grew to become the most popular outdoor concert venues of the Hungarian capital city. Funzine argues that this season might be its best, with an expanded list of performers and new options for relaxing even when the sun is still up.
Even though it was in danger of getting closed some time ago, the outdoor venue opens on the 3rd of May entertaining us for five months in 2018. The acts on the opening weekend will be 100% Hungarian, but there will be numerous birthday programs and album release concerts, along with even more international events than previously.
Concerts
Calling out to all lovers of pop music: the currently most popular representative of mainstream pop, LP comes to Hungary for the first time on the 24th of June. Then a known formation arrives, as Modern Talking is giving a concert on the 15th of September.
Funzine reminds us that there will be blues and reggae concerts too, like Joe Bonamassa on June 14 and Alborosie & The Shengen Clan on August 22.
Those crazy for electronic music will be happy to hear that Bonobo comes to Budapest Park on the 23rd of May, and also Scooter returns (again) on the 9th of June. The Bloody Beetroots are giving a concert on the 19th, followed by Paul Kalkbrenner on August 4, and finally, you can have the rave of your life at the Die Antwoord concert on August 18.
