Best street foods in Budapest – Part 2 – PHOTOS

A couple of years ago, quickly done but delicious foods appeared on Budapest’s streets. Since then, one can buy them even at restaurants. Funzine.hu collected the best places and here is the second part of it.

Black Cab Burger

You can find this restaurant in the city centre, and if you love burgers, this place is definitely for you. Taking a look at the menu, it becomes obvious for the first sight that it is not a usual restaurant. There is a ‘Make your own burger’ option to let the guests be creative. One can choose the size of the bun, the type of meat (chicken, beef, salmon), and all the other ingredients, as well. Extras include blue cheese, grilled pineapple, or sunny-side-up eggs among others. One of the favourites is the Cabbie Burger. There are pickle slices, crunchy lettuce, tomatoes, white onion, jalapeno, perfectly melted cheddar cheese, and beef. The best part of the hamburger is the tasty mixture of BBQ sauce, crunchy bacon, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. One can also try Black Cab’s special English style fries with malt vinegar. Furthermore, delicious salads, fantastic hot-dogs, English sodas, ciders, Fuller beers, and Hungarian juices make the menu even more unique. Additionally, they make their own brownies from scratch according to their own recipe.

Pöriző

Even though Pöriző is a new member of the Budapest street food scene, it became popular very quickly. The restaurant, which lies near the Arany János metro station, got tons of positive reviews. Its founding team had the goal to create an alternative Hungarian street food restaurant. Of course, they have chicken pörkölt and goulash on their menu among others.

Sushiroll

Sushiroll is the perfect choice if you are looking for delicious and also healthy food that is quickly made. At this place, which is situated in Corvin Broadwalk (Corvin Sétány), your food will be prepared in one minute. You can choose from soups, nigiri, maki plates and salads. Additionally, it is guaranteed that the food is fresh and high-quality. Furthermore, there are also vegetarian meals. Therefore, whoever comes to this restaurant, will never leave with an empty stomach.
