MOL to open eighty more petrol stations on the Czech market

Prague (MTI) – Hungarian oil and gas company MOL began a re-branding campaign of its petrol stations in the Czech Republic. As a result of the continuous re-branding of Lukoil and Slovnaft, the company is planning to open eighty more petrol stations on the Czech market by the end of the year.

Oszkár Világi, the member of the MOL management board, and the CEO of the Slovnaft oil group, said at the opening ceremony that the company is aiming to establish its second largest petrol station network in the Czech Republic, as a substantial part of its export activity is already intended for the Czech market. MOL currently operates 192 Lukoil, Pap Oil, and Slovnaft petrol stations throughout the country, and following the acquisition of the Italian Eni’s petrol stations by the end of the summer, this number will rise to 317, making it the second biggest player on the Czech petrol market, added Világi.
