According to some press reports, the cocaine was accidentally in the drink of Tamara Csipes and Bence Dombvári. Meanwhile, the head of the Hungarian Kayak-Canoe Federation Disciplinary Committee has been replaced.

Meanwhile, the head of the Hungarian Kayak-Canoe Federation Disciplinary Committee, Dr. György Lőrinczy, has been replaced who directed the work of the board for 25 years. “There were phone calls from colleagues about the details, when Botond Storcz, the association’s head coach called me on Monday evening and informed me about that it had been decided at the recent Bureau meeting that I won’t direct this committee in the future” – Lőrinczy said to Blikk.

The board’s new leader is dr. György Fábry, who ordered proceedings against the two athletes. “As the director of the Disciplinary Committee I took the lead of the three-judge panel hearing the case.
