Wizz Air uses reserved seats to Barcelona-Budapest flights

Soon, compulsory preliminary reservation will be introduced to all flights. According to origo.hu, their readers like the change.
From May 4, Wizz Air has introduced preliminary seat reservation in three of its flights. From May 19, the new system will take effect on all flights. First, the changes will be tested on Budapest-Barcelona, Katowice-London Luton and Buchares-Dortmund routes. The first passenger traveling this way was Slawomir Koziel, who was the first to board on the flight from Katowice to London Luton.
The free seat reservation takes place during the booking process. According to the first experiences of origo.hu, the machine gives aisle seats, not window. The passengers can change their free reservations and choose another seat for a fee which starts at EUR 1. They can do it on wizzair.com or with the WIZZ mobile app at any time, but no later than 3 hours prior to departure.

- Seats in the front rows: EUR 5-23
- Front seats. EUR 3-07
- Seats in the forward section of the passenger compartment: EUR 2-5
- Seats with bigger legroom: EUR 5-23
- Seats at the rear of the passenger compartment: EUR 1-2.5
