Cirque de Soleil, the popular crew that mixes circus arts and street entertainment, is going to present their show called ’Quidam’ in Budapest, reports funzine.hu. Tickets are available for the shows, which can be seen on four occasions, from the 13th of February, until the 15th, in László Papp Arena, Budapest.
Cirque de Soleil was formed in 1984 in Quebec, and the group’s aim was to entertain with high quality, artistic acrobatic shows. While there were only 20 founder members, now Cirque de Soleil provides work for more than 4000 people, including 46 artists of countless nations: acrobats, musicians, singers and character actors from all around the world had joined this unique group of entertainers.
‘Quidam’ had made its debut in 1996 in Montréal, in a marquee. Due to its success, the crew shaped it into a grand arena show and presented it in 2010 in North America. The story follows Zoe, the young girl who is bored and does not find any joy in the company of her apathetic family. The audience follows her to the world of Quidam, a place where fantastic creatures encourage Zoe to seek meaning in her life and to free her soul.
