Szijjarto: Hungarian-German economic cooperation excellent

Budapest (MTI) – The Hungarian government is committed to further strengthening what are already excellent economic relations with Germany, Peter Szijjarto, Hungary’s minister of foreign affairs and trade, said on Friday.

The governments wants to maintain regular cooperation with the German side in making decisions that may affect the operation of German businesses here, Szijjarto told the German Business Forum hosted by the foreign ministry.

The minister called for joint efforts to boost Hungarian sales to Germany. He underlined that the Germany companies involving Hungarian suppliers in their operations create a chance for Hungarian SME to develop.

Szijjarto expressed thanks to German companies operating in the country for their role played in enabling Hungary’s economy to embark on a growth course and become a top performer in Europe.
