Hungarian Parliament should condemn U.S.

Jobbik submits a draft resolution to condemn the CIA’s torture interrogation methods, and the party also called upon the United States not to hold anyone accountable to any international contracts before apologizing to the victims.

“There is no international contract, there is no human rights charter that was not trampled upon by the concerned U.S. organizations and individuals in the secret prisons of the CIA.” said Ádám Mirkóczki in his press conference on Thursday.

He reminded the public that these were the very same documents that the U.S. constantly wanted to hold Hungary and the rest of the world accountable to.

“This case has finally revealed the true self and the permanent hypocritical, deceitful policy conducted on a daily basis by the United States, which likes posing as the ‘policeman of the world’, the ‘defender of democracy’ and the ‘champion of human rights'” said the spokesman of the party.

“The outrage is completely justified,” he went on, “not only in the impacted countries but all over the world. Therefore, Jobbik will submit a draft resolution to the National Assembly to condemn the methods of the United States, and we hope that all the parties and factions of the Parliament would unanimously support it.” said the politician.
