Things you would never expect to happen at a car rental, or any modern company in general, are happening at a small car rental firm in Budapest. Meet Ferenc Prondvai-Pacsika CEO who has recently saved the lives of two families, who would have been out in the street without his help, Totalcar.hu reports.

There are always some cars at the plant, waiting for reparation, because they tend to be brought back crushed, at times, says the CEO who rides an old Suzuki car. Although, he has a modern, more expensive Skoda, but he uses it only when he takes his child somewhere, otherwise, anyone may rent it.

Nice atmosphere is important, this is what operates everything. Those who go to rent a car there are not able to pay thousands of Euros for a car, so nothing remains, but a detailed car rental agreement and a promise. Clients are temporarily employed or job seekers, but some of them are back from abroad for a family visit. Nobody has to pay deposit, nobody would be able to do, anyway, because the majority of the clients have an extremely low salary, yet, everything works, because Ferenc has gained deep insight into human nature over the recent years, Totalcar.hu notes.

You can rent a simple car for about 10-20 Euros. They are not the latest models, but they work, and solve the transport issues of people with lower wage. They can find a job, they can fetch the children from school, they can go to the hospital – in brief, their life becomes a little bit easier. Ferenc’s wife is a social worker, and it was her job which changed the man’s way of thinking some years ago. For example, at Christmas in 2001, he distributed Christmas cakes and breaded chicken for the poor living in the street. Ten years later, he organized a training called “Learning and Sporting” for the unemployed. He also kept karate training for children. His team has even won a competition.
